After-hours floral security

Hana

Hana, a Shiba Inu wearing a large pink felt blossom collar

The florist is guarded by one extremely composed blossom.

Dear Greenhouse

Every evening, Hana reports to the corner florist before the shutters finish rattling down. She wears the largest blossom in stock, checks the buckets for unauthorized digging, and accepts one chin scratch from the owner. Customers may browse quietly. Bouquets may lean. The watering can must remain where she left it. At midnight, she sits by the door and considers the hydrangeas professionally.

Closing Duties

The pink collar is not ceremonial. It is issued whenever the shop expects trouble from squirrels, delivery scooters, or the neighbor’s ambitious tabby. Hana rarely intervenes. She looks directly at the disturbance until it remembers another appointment. By opening time, the floor is clean, the stems are counted, and one biscuit has disappeared from the till area.

Stay planted. Hana has the door.
